What this job involves:

As an Occupancy Planner at JLL, you'll play a critical role in optimizing our clients' workspaces by developing strategic site and campus-level planning solutions. Working at the intersection of real estate strategy and workplace design, you'll analyze space availability, workplace conditions, and headcount projections to ensure all sites meet client standards while maximizing efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact how organizations utilize their physical environments, creating workspaces that enhance productivity and support business objectives while contributing to JLL's reputation as a leader in workplace solutions.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Develop and deliver site-level occupancy planning solutions including blocking, stacking, adjacency planning, and optimization strategiesCreate detailed migration plans and sequencing for group-level and individual moves to ensure smooth transitionsMaintain accurate CAFM/IWMS data and support data accuracy audits to ensure reliable reportingServe as the point of contact for site and campus level space requests, collaborating with business leaders and facilities teamsTrack and report actual versus projected office demand at building and floor levelsAnalyze site level attendance and occupancy data to inform space planning decisionsPrepare clear communication materials including floor plans, stack plans, and data summaries to help stakeholders understand proposed solutions

Required Qualifications:

Strong relationship building and customer service skillsDemonstrated problem-solving abilities in space planning scenariosExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPointAbility to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with CAFM/IWMS systems and space data managementUnderstanding of tactical planning principles and workplace standards

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with activity-based working programs and modern workplace conceptsBackground in stacking/blocking and adjacency planningAutoCAD skills or other design software experienceUnderstanding of corporate real estate strategies and facility managementExperience working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholdersKnowledge of space optimization techniques and best practicesFamiliarity with reporting and data visualization tools
