Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operation, load out and maintenance of all types of audio, musical and other related equipment to be used for entertainment events.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operations, load out and maintenance of all types of audio, musical and other related equipment to be used for entertainment eventsProvides audio reinforcement for eventsInstalls and operates portable audio systemsMixes audio for live eventsOperates fork trucks and lift equipment

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates and maintains the casino music systemDrives trucks that are up to 24 feet in lengthCleans and maintains equipmentAssists with any and all entertainment production tasks, as needed

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentThree years of experience working with professional audio equipment and live audio reinforcement, including digital and computer based systemsPrevious experience rigging PA systems in an arena environmentPrevious experience mixing live audio in an arena or other similar large venue

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Good communication skillsGood organizational and multi-tasking skillsKnowledgeable in working with the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) operating system

Training Requirements:

Knowledgeable in the operation of analog, digital and computer based professional audio equipmentMust be certified in the operation of fork trucks, motorized pallet jacks, scissor lifts and boom lifts

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and climb for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift and move all necessary equipment up to 75 lbs.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptionsMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
