The Infrastructure Engineer 3 is responsible for designing building and implementing systems and solutions in support of the IT Infrastructure. The position acts as an escalation point for requests and issues related to systems and users. The Infrastructure Engineer is also tasked with identifying and implementing efficiency improvements to existing systems and solutions.

What you will be doing Design, build, and implement moderately complex technology platforms and solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve moderately complex or escalated issues and outages; perform problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses to drive process improvementsSafeguard the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the company's supported systems and data; drive the execution of complex improvements to maintain and achieve high security postureIdentify and improve internal efficiencies on data center systems' security, maintenance, installations, and upgrades; provide ongoing recommendations and reportingOperate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledgeDesign and implement solutions for backup and disaster recovery; perform the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuityDocument the design, operation, procedures, and troubleshooting of implemented complex solutions and technology platforms; review documentation for best practices and conduct training sessions with team membersMentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on abilities of teamParticipate in audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines; identify opportunities for audit automationMentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on technical abilities of teamDisclaimer: The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.  It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job.Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy What will make you successful Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience as an Infrastructure EngineerStrong experience working with public cloud solutionsStrong experience working with virtualization technologiesStrong experience working with server operating systemsStrong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactStrong data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skillsStrong customer service orientationStrong interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of departmentStrong leadership, sound judgment, and business and technology acumen skillsStrong attention to detailAble to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentSelf-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with minimal oversightAbility to coach, mentor and provide feedback to team members in a timely mannerStrong experience working with Citrix, Netapp, and LinuxMicrosoft Windows or MacOS and Microsoft Office proficientStrong knowledge of systems administrationStrong knowledge of Microsoft Windows network environmentsExperience in managing complex projectsUp to 5% travel time requiredDisclaimer: Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
