Munson Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN physician to join our amazing practice in Gaylord, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of women’s healthcare in our region, with a brand-new state-of-the-art birthing center schedule d to open in summer 2026.
Our practice includes two experienced women’s health nurse practitioners , 1:1 medical assistant support and a highly skilled, patient focused care team. We have an active robotics program and support advanced gynecologic care to our community and beyond . Additionally , o ur practice is supported by Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians from the University of Michigan and can be consulted 24/7 or seen in our Traverse City office for ongoing care needs.
Call is shared amongst members of the practice and employed laborists . Opportunities are also available to engage in teaching through an FMOB GME program. Join us in delivering e xceptional care to women at every stage of life!

+ Assists in policy and procedure development for Pediatric practice operations and clinical interventions.
+ Maintains visibility within the community as a health care provider. Serves as a role model to clinic staff, faculty, and the community at large.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Standard Qualifications
+ MD or DO
+ Successful completion of an approved U.S. Residency training program approved by the Accrediting Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) of the American Medical Association, or the American Osteopathic Association or its equivalent.
Certification, Licensure, Registration:
+ Board eligible/certified for OB/GYN practice in the State of Michigan
+ NRP, BLS, EFM certified
