Job DescriptionPurpose & Scope:
Cleans all equipment and surfaces according to departmental procedures and schedules.Thoroughly scrapes, soaks, washes and sanitizes pots and pans.Ensures trays, utensils and all equipment are clean prior to placing in service.Prepares dish room and dish machine prior to use. Loads and unloads dish machine following established procedures.Sweeps and mops kitchen, production, service and cafeteria floors on a routine basis. Removes trash and garbage to disposal area. Cleans trash containers. May be required to operate dish machine, compactor and garbage disposal.Transports supplies to various areas of the department and facility. May deliver food trucks to floors. May collect trays from patient areas.Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
