**Job Overview** Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide on the Southdale Campus in Edina, MN! This position is 56 **hours** in a 2-week period, on the morning shift. This position is benefit eligible! Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays. **About this position:** + The position reports to five department managers (may also report to the general manager). + Approximately 75 employees in the department. **Location** : Southdale hospital, located in Edina **Hours** : 56 hours biweekly, **Shift** : morning shift **Schedule** Week1 Mon: 8am - 4:30pm Fri: 8am - 4:30pm Sat: 10:45am - 7pm Sun: 10:45am - 7pm Week 2 Wed: 8am - 4:30pm Thu: 8am - 4:30pm Fri: 8am - 4:30pm **Responsibilities** + Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas. + Plates and serves food. + Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures. + Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures. + Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils. + Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations. + Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served. **Required Qualifications** + Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
