Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Nutrition Service Worker.

As a Nutrition Service Worker at MercyOne, you will prepare patient trays; serves patients and visitors in café, or assigned dining area; washes dishes, including pots and pans; cleans assigned work areas; puts away stock; set up service and special functions.  In addition, they may operate the cash register, following proper cash procedures and the serve in the role of transporter.

Assembles patient trays according to appropriate diet.Serves patients and visitors in café or dining area as assigned.Performs dishwashing duties, wash pots and pans and clean work areas.Puts away stock following safety guidelines.Set-up/serve special functions.May operates cash register, following proper cash procedures.Maintains accurate, balanced change bank when working cafeteria.Understands and demonstrates the proper use and care and maintenance all dietary equipment and supplies, continually learning new technology.Observes proper sanitary techniques.Transport meals to other sites.

Schedule:

Varied shifts: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm; 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm; 11:30 am – 8:00 pm; Every other weekend; holiday rotation

General Requirements:

Must be able to read and understand labels, production orders, and storeroom set-up.Must have the ability to learn special diets.Must have valid Driver’s License.Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
