Are you interested in an administrative role that helps to support our Dietitian team here in the Central PA region? Our Dietitian team is looking for a Scheduling Assistant to join their team.
This position is Monday-Friday, 8A-4:30PM, with no weekends/holidays. This position requires telephone calls with patients on a daily basis.
After 6 months of being in this role, there is the possibility of being hybrid, which would be only 1-2 days per week in the office.

Purpose:
Coordinates scheduling functions for the cliental while assisting the day-to-day office functions for the support of the Dietitian team.
Responsibilities:
+ Efficient use of scheduling software to schedule client visits based on client needs, client care plan, client service authorization if applicable and staffing.
+ Identify, develop and participate in process improvement opportunities within the agency that will enhance the quality of the services provided while actively look for ways to reduce costs without negative impact to quality.
+ Adapt to changes in work environment, successfully manage competing demands while balancing team and individual responsibilities.
+ Meet work commitments with minimal supervision, complete work assignments per established timeframes with minimal or no reminders.
+ Focus on customer service and continually strive to perform the duties of the job in a manner that results in optimal customer satisfaction.
+ Offer assistance and support to co-workers while contributing to building a positive team spirit and cohesiveness.
+ Update client electronic medical record with all necessary paperwork via scanning and filing in a timely manner.
+ Attend trainings and adhere to organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures.
+ Seek opportunities for self-development including increased responsibilities, volunteering readily, accepting constructive feedback and incorporating those into work duties.
+ Utilize Software for updating patient information, entry of notes, Reconciles/validates and processes daily activity records for all client visits for individual staff, entry of office stop forms, running reports as required and/or directed.
+ Accept client, family, facility, referring agency, staff calls and facilitate communication between team members as necessary.
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Computer skills preferred.
+ Administrative experience preferred.
+ Customer service experience preferred.
+ Telephone skills preferred.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
