Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Transports or escorts patients to and from units and departments for various activities; may assist patients with ambulation. + Performs general tasks such as transporting specimens to the lab. + Receives and distributes clean linen; makes and changes bed linen. + Cleans immediate patient care areas. + Cleans unit refrigerators; mops or sweeps floors as necessary. + Distributes dietary trays; feeds patients; provides patients with drinking water, ice ,and other drinks.
