Medical Surgical department highlights: * 24-Bed Urology Inpatient Medical-Surgical Unit * Self-scheduling with rotating weekend requirements * Working with a Multi-Disciplinary Team * Work with patients and provide life-saving care * The opportunity to work with a diverse patient population Here's What You Need * Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program Completion * BSN preferred * 2 Years experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) required * RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required and * BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and * ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days required And * CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days required What You Will Do In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Nurse Supervisor will: + Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. + maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients and staff + possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism + have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems The Nursing Supervisor will support, coach, manage staff and resources to meet unit and hospital goals.
