The lab assistant might be asked to assist with simulations in different courses or assist with open lab hours. Assisting fundamentals labs with set up and implementation is also a possibility. Specific Duties and Responsibilities 1. Assists students in their practice of psychomotor nursing skills individually or in groups. 2. Performs preparation and clean-up for scheduled lab classes 3. Assists nursing lab faculty and director with scheduled labs and simulation labs as needed 4. Runs computerized manikins for simulation 5. Maintains lab and lab equipment, including cleaning of manikins and simulators 6. Performs other duties as assigned by nursing director or dean.
