Nursing Assistant Main Operating Room

This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing exceptional treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. **Work Hours/Shift:** + Part-Time, 24 hours, evening shift. **You Will Be Responsible For** : + Collecting and reporting patient information and data as directed. + Helping patients with activities of daily living; including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing and dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility, and ambulation. + Patient transport, collection of specimens, distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms, and delivery of ice and beverages to patients as directed. As assigned, stays with at-risk patients to monitor safety. + Providing care according to hospital procedures in a manner that protects the safety and dignity of patients. **Requirements** : + **Education** : High School Diploma or Equivalent. Graduate of a Connecticut approved Nurse Aide Training Program preferred or in process of earning a BA in Nursing OR Health Sciences with at least one clinical completed OR significant previous healthcare related experience. + Proof with college transcript required OR have significant nurse assistant/healthcare related experience is required. + **Certification** : BLS certification required. + Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant in an acute care setting preferred. **Trinity Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
