The Nursing Administrative Assistant is responsible for the overall review, confirmation, and submission of completed hours and paperwork to Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) for the Vocational Nursing (VN) program and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program students for both the Alhambra and Riverside Campuses. The Administrative Assistant must maintain program standards, including continued compliance with all state and federal regulations governing program operation.

Credentials and Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience in either MA, VN or CNA preferredMinimum of 1 year experience working in a MA, VN or CNA educational program preferredDiploma or Degree in a related fieldExcellent organizational and communication skills

Special Requirements:

Flexible hours to include evenings, weekends and/or holidaysAttendance at the Platt College Graduation Ceremony requiredTravel is required between the Riverside and Alhambra Campus
