You will experience great exposure to both the institute and department leadership and have numerous opportunities for career growth. **A caregiver in this position works varying shifts.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide or assist the RN with basic direct patient care, such as taking vitals and weights, assisting patients with personal care, point of care testing, dressing changes, application of external monitoring devices and removal of urinary Foley Catheters + Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to the RN. + Assist with keeping patients' rooms clean & orderly. + Demonstrate a positive, concerned and sensitive response in the workplace. + Complete mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department-specific competencies and requirements. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Nursing student in good standing in an accredited nursing school program OR an unlicensed graduate of an accredited nursing school program + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) + Satisfactory completion of hospital orientation + Competencies specific to patient population served Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
