Position Purpose

Holy Cross Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor – Maternity Suites to serve as a clinical leader in our Maternity Suites unit. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care at the unit level, ensuring high-quality care, staff development, and operational efficiency. This role supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health by fostering service excellence in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What You Will Do

Lead and supervise clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring high standards of patient careMake cost-effective operational decisions related to staffing, supplies, and resource utilizationManage staff assignments and schedules to ensure appropriate coverageEnsure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standardsFacilitate staff orientation, training, and ongoing developmentProvide coaching, performance feedback, and participate in staff evaluationsSupport the development and implementation of patient care standards, quality initiatives, and safety plansServe as a professional role model and resource for clinical and operational guidance

Minimum Qualifications

Current Maryland RN license requiredBLS certification required; additional life support certifications based on unit needsSpecialty certification (department-specific) required within six months of hireBSN required; Master’s preferredMinimum 3 years of acute care experience in maternity or a related specialtyAdvanced computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft OfficeAbility to communicate complex information clearly and effectivelyProficient in reading, writing, and speaking English

Pay rate: $39.04 - $58.56

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
