HCC is an EEO and ADA/ADAA employer, including disability and protected veteran status. **Benefits** **Job Description** Harford Community College is seeking qualified instructors to teach nurse refresher courses, including theory, lab, and clinical instruction. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: + planning, implementing, and revising the educational program; + Selecting and evaluating clinical facilities used to achieve program objectives; + Developing & utilizing written examinations to measure achievement of program objectives; + Developing and utilizing an evaluation tool to measure the achievement of clinical competencies. The clinical competencies shall be based upon the RN and LPN standards of practice. + Developing and utilizing a mechanism for student evaluation of the course; + Assisting with set-up, inventory, and cleaning of the practice lab; + Maintaining course and student records and submitting them at course completion; + Assisting with the submission of reports and applications to the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) as indicated. Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Work is generally performed on the College campus unless otherwise specified. **_Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, as the College does not offer Visa sponsorship for this position._** _Your application to this position will remain active until December 31 of the current year. If you apply_ **_on or after November 1 of the current year_** _, your application will remain active until December 31 of the following calendar year._ **Required Education** Must be a registered nurse licensed and able to currently practice in the state of Maryland. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. American Heart Association BLS CPR is required.
