The Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation is seeking Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care Department. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Nurse Practitioner will independently obtain a relevant health and medical historyPerforms a physical examination based on age and history and dictates a progress note if needed with the appropriate physiciansPerforms and/or orders preventive and diagnostic procedures based on the patient’s age and historyHelp the physicians provide screening, consultation and answers to incoming questions from referring physiciansIdentifies health and medical risk factors
Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the Board of Registered Nursing. MSN Degree Required

License/Certification Requirements:

Current unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State of California.Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate or eligible to obtain.Furnishing number issued by the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).National Board Certification for Nurse PractitionerBLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Experience:

One (1) year minimum Nurse Practitioner experience strongly preferred
