University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant to join our Electrophysiology practice in our Central Region including Minneapolis, Fridley, and Maple Grove. The position will provide patients with expert patient care and coordination of services. They will assist the practice to improve patient satisfaction and enhance the quality of care provided to the patients through increased access and coordinated services.
In This Role, You Will:
Join a multidisciplinary team of Cardiologists (5 Electrophysiologists) and 23 Advanced Practice Providers (3 EP dedicated)Provide and coordinate care for adults with cardiac diseases throughout the course of evaluation and treatment.Provide and manage care to adult patients for a wide range of services in EP including rhythm management, ablations, devices and Watchman Provide and coordinate continuity of care of pre and post procedure clinic follow up. This includes follow-up, providing information to referring physicians and institutions, and patient/family education.Perform cardioversion, loop recorder, and tilt table proceduresPerform inpatient consults, pre and post procedure care, and clinic follow up visits.Show commitment to exemplary patient care.Manage patient care through appropriate use of available resources.Demonstrate the ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level of population served.Use a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)We’re Looking For a PA or NP Who Is:
A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.
Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP’s).
Able to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.

The full-time salary range is $125,759 - $ 158,160, commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components. Salary prorated based on FTE.
