Job Summary 

The Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, APN for the Cardiology Service at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing comprehensive and age appropriate direct care and follow up to a population of patients,

Requirements 

MSN/DNP from an accredited nursing program requiredActive New Jersey RN and APN licenseThe ideal candidate has at least three years of acute care work experienceExperience in cardiology is preferredAPN work experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities 

The components of the role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and researchThe APN works in conjunction with the Cardiology Attending performing patient consults and follow up careClinical core privileges will include the management, treatment, and ordering, performing, and interpreting labs, radiography, and other diagnostics test for acute and chronic cardiac disorders in the adult population
