**Description:**
Reporting to the Director Telemetry & Cardiovascular Services, Nursing Service Admin, this position is responsible to coordinate all services, including but not limited to transaortic valve replacement (TAVR), trans mitral valve procedures, left atrial appendage closure, and future emerging structural heart technologies that are required to provide multidisciplinary, quality assured, and cost effective care to patients referred to the Structural Heart Clinic. Oversight of the functions and duties of this role will be provided by the Medical Director for Cardiovascular Services.
**Requirements**
1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California is required.
2. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the State of California is required.
3. Successful completion of SAMC Medical Staff credentialing process within sixty (60) days of hire is required. Allied Health Professional Staff membership maintenance and meeting requirements for focused and ongoing professional performance evaluation, as defined in the Allied Health Professional Policy and Procedures Manual, is also required.
4. Additional preparation and skills in physical diagnosis, psycho-social assessment, and management of health/illness needs in primary health care by completion of a program conforming to the California Board of Registered Nursing standards as specified in California code of Regulations (CCR) 14814 Standards of Education is required.
5. Master's Degree in Nursing or related clinical field is preferred.
6. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
7. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
8. Three years of specialty experience in the designated clinical area is required.
9. Effective communication skills as well as expert clinical assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation skills are required.
10. National certification in area of specialty within 12 months of hire is required.
**Pay Range**
**$69.64 - $100.97**
