Nurse Practitioner Behavioral Health Consult Liaison
**Responsibilities** **The Opportunity:** + Conduct comprehensive assessments and examinations of patients' psychological status. + Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments. + Implement and manage treatment plans, including medication management (under physician supervision). + Periodically assess patients' psychological needs and adjust treatment plans accordingly. + Provide patient education and counseling related to mental health conditions and treatment. + Provide psychiatric consults to patients admitted to general medical and surgical services at St. Vincent's Infirmary, under the direction of a supervising Psychiatry physician. + Perform initial workups and consults for psychiatric needs on the medical floor, under the supervision of the rounding physician. + Collaborate with the supervising physician to provide optimal patient care. + Facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration with the healthcare team (physicians, nurses, social workers, etc.) to ensure coordinated care. + Serve as a point person for psychiatric consults at St. Vincent's Infirmary. + Ensure optimal care during hospitalization and upon discharge, including discharge planning related to mental health needs. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Current RNP and/or APN licensure in Arkansas. + Eligibility for a Medicare provider number and DEA registration. + Master’s Degree in Nursing **Overview** CHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving Arkansas, is part of CommonSpirit Health.
