The Provider Function is responsible for delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, education and prevention. Ensures high-quality, patient-centered comprehensive care, including; medical oncology, radiation therapy, surgical oncology and hematology, etc.

We are hiring for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Cancer Care of North Florida at our Medical Oncology clinic in Lake City, FL. This person is responsible for assessing patients in the clinic, recommending treatment plans, medication management, symptom management, and working closely with the physicians to make any changes to treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Assess oncology patients' symptoms and make suggestions and recommendations on individual treatment plansUpdate patient records using electronic medical recordsWork closely with oncologists for any changes in symptoms or individual treatment plansMedication ManagementSymptom ManagementConduct physical examinationsComply with all HIPAA laws regarding patient confidentiality

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferredBachelor's degree of Science in NursingNP-focused Masters degreeSuccessfully passed a National Nurse Practitioner board certification examPrevious experience working within oncology in a clinical setting, highly preferredOncology certification a plusDrug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and license, preferred

Anticipated salary range: $84,800-$130,500
