Responsibilities

As a PACU Nurse at CRMC,  you will use skills in the recovery room and it doesn’t stop there. Most patients never realize the part you played in getting them through one of their most vulnerable moments. Honoring your commitment to care for others is thanks enough. Our leadership is visible and the hospital is expanding its services.  Call is required and is based on shift and patient volume.  

Every day you will go over consent forms, answer questions about the procedure, do preoperative assessments, and prepare patients for various surgical procedures. 

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for surgical proceduresAdminister medications as directed by physicianDevelop and implement nursing care plan for surgical patientsDemonstrate a high level of compassion for patients

Qualifications

Minimum:

One year RN experience within Critical Care Area required i.e. ICU, Telemetry, ER
AZ RN license or RN license from a Compact State
Current American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider card
ACLS card.

PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

Preferred:

One year post anesthesia care experience.
Knowledge of Surgical procedures, Critical care background. Pediatric experience.
Strong cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring skills
