GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manages, organizes, coordinates, and continually enhances all aspects of the Clara Ford Center for Nursing Excellence. Responsible for supporting, developing, and delivering high-quality educational content across Henry Ford Health. Supports leadership in setting education goals and milestones. Partners with colleagues and stakeholders across the system to develop and deploy a variety of learning and development programs offered through the Clara Ford Center for Nursing Excellence. Leads the development of system courses and projects to achieve strategic business objectives. Responsible for conducting education and training sessions in person and virtually in multiple venues. Flexibility to allow for travel to Henry Ford Health locations. Leads the evaluation of projects and supports the monitoring and evaluation of the overall education program.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master's Degree in Nursing required. Three (3) years of clinical nurse specialist/nursing management/education experience required. Master's of Science in Nursing - Education preferred. Teaching/preceptor experience preferred. Instruction design experience. Competence in curriculum or program design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Experience facilitating courses and creating training materials. Ability to interpret and assess training and development needs. Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, and of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and formats. Must be self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Must possess excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy and broad computer skills including Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint) and use of the internet. Strong project management skills.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
