Nurse Manager - Flexible Schedule (Four 10hr days)

The Oaks Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee and coordinate the delivery of healthcare services to our residents. The Nurse Manager plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the highest level of clinical care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a passion for working with seniors in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead nursing and caregiving staff, ensuring high-quality care in accordance with state regulations and company policiesOversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident careCollaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate careManage medication administration, documentation, and resident medical recordsEnsure compliance with all applicable healthcare standards, licensing, and safety regulationsConduct regular staff training and performance evaluationsParticipate in the development and monitoring of care plans and risk assessmentsRespond promptly to emergency situations and provide leadership during crisis situationsMonitor infection control practices and ensure best practices are followedParticipate in resident admissions and discharges, including initial and ongoing assessmentsMaintain effective communication with residents and families regarding care needs and updatesSupport a culture of respect, dignity, and resident-centered care

Qualifications:

Current and active RN or LPN license in the State of Michigan (RN preferred)Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role in senior care or assisted livingStrong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of assisted living regulations and standardsCPR/First Aid certification requiredExperience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferredAbility to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed
