Nurse Manager - Assisted Living ( Flexible Schedule )
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Nurse Manager - Flexible Schedule (Four 10hr days)** The Oaks Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated **Nurse Manager** to oversee and coordinate the delivery of healthcare services to our residents. The Nurse Manager plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the highest level of clinical care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a passion for working with seniors in a supportive and team-oriented environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervise and lead nursing and caregiving staff, ensuring high-quality care in accordance with state regulations and company policies + Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care + Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care + Manage medication administration, documentation, and resident medical records + Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare standards, licensing, and safety regulations + Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations + Participate in the development and monitoring of care plans and risk assessments + Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide leadership during crisis situations + Monitor infection control practices and ensure best practices are followed + Participate in resident admissions and discharges, including initial and ongoing assessments + Maintain effective communication with residents and families regarding care needs and updates + Support a culture of respect, dignity, and resident-centered care **Qualifications:** + Current and active RN or LPN license in the State of Michigan (RN preferred) + Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role in senior care or assisted living + Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills + Knowledge of assisted living regulations and standards + CPR/First Aid certification required + Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred + Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed **What Perks and Benefits Can You Look Forward to?** + Paid holidays and generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + **Up to $4,000 in tuition reimbursement annually!** + **Flexible work schedule!** + Discounts with major vendors; AT&T, Verizon, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Quicken Loans, AND MORE! + Day 1 Benefits - Low cost medical, dental and vision insurance plans.
