This includes: + Chemotherapy administration oversight, which requires RN-level competency. + Post-op care such as Foley removals, TTVs, and triage to reduce ER admissions. + Medication management including authorizations, refills, and CIC teaching. + Supervision of MAs and RNs, ensuring clinical quality and operational efficiency. This position is critical to maintaining patient flow and safety, especially given the high visit volume. **Responsibilities:** + Manage daily clinical and administrative operations, flexing staffing based on patient needs and acuity. + Serve as a role model in patient care, fostering compassionate relationships with patients, families, and staff. + Align departmental goals with national standards and organizational priorities to improve safety, quality, and satisfaction. + Lead strategic planning using financial, quality, and clinical data to shape departmental vision and operations. + Drive and support complex change initiatives, engaging stakeholders and guiding staff through transitions. + Build strong interpersonal relationships and adapt communication styles to gain support and foster collaboration. + Analyze clinical issues and satisfaction data to develop solutions and implement improvement plans. + Promote staff development through mentoring, education, certification support, and performance management. + Oversee orientation and training for new staff, students, and colleagues, ensuring smooth integration and growth. + Ensure regulatory compliance across all practice activities, including audits, competencies, and safety standards. + Cultivate a culture of open dialogue, continuous feedback, and professional inquiry. + Manage budgets, optimize billing practices, and ensure efficient use of resources in alignment with organizational goals. + Enhance clinical care tools and workflows to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Required: + Minimum 5 years Nursing Experience required. + BSN or Bachelors in related health care field required. Preferred: + The individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or interact appropriately to the ages of the patients served by his/her assigned unit as specified below. + They must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures. + Progressive leadership experience with relevant clinical experience preferred. + MSN or Masters in a health care field preferred. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** + Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located. + CPR Certification CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) + Registered Nurse (RN) + Act 33 with renewal + Act 34 with renewal + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal *Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
