Nurse Educator - Professional Development Specialist, Providence Office Park in Portland, Oregon. This is a part time, exempt position, offering flexible scheduling options. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, day shift. This is NOT a virtual (remote) position.
The RN Coordinator - Clinical Educator reports to the Regional Manager of Clinical Orientation and Development. The position is accountable for the operation of Providence Regional Nursing Orientation (PRNO) and agency staff orientation. This includes: evaluation, coordination and administration of nursing orientation and new hire competency assessment. This role also contributes to the regional clinical education effort by authoring, implementing, and evaluating clinical education and competency assessment activities on a regional basis and across the care continuum.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree- Nursing. Master's Degree - Master Program enrollment; Nursing preferred. Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 3 years - Experience in nursing education or leadership. 5 years - Experience in acute care nursing.Why Join Providence?
