TheBoeing Commercial Airplanes Quality Organization is currently hiring for a range of experience levels including Associate or Mid-Level Numerical Control Programmers to join our team in Portland Oregon.

This role will require the selected candidate to work a variable shift, however initial training will begin on 1st shift.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical expertise to support the design and manufacture of parts and assemblies. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.Works under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

Ability and willingness to work a variable shift1 or more years of experience programming and operating Coordinated Measurement Machine (CMM) 1 or more years of experience conducting Inspections using ASME Standards for Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)1 or more years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality Process Improvements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience using Spatial Analyzer (SA), or similar metrology software3 or more years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $72,250 - $97,750

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $90,950 - $123,050
