Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves coordinating and administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, while maintaining high standards of imaging and positioning.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures.Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.Explain the imaging procedure to patients.Maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire a quality scan.Operate the PACS Computer System proficiently.Participate in performance improvement initiatives.Assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the operation of the department.Essential SkillsRadiology AART certification.NMTCB certification.Proficiency in radiology, radiologic technology, x-ray, imaging, scanning, medical procedures, and nuclear medicine technology.Additional Skills & QualificationsRegistered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.) or be a graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be registry eligible.Must become registered within one year of employment if registry eligible upon hire and maintain registry while employed.Basic Life Support Certification.Work Environment
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with rotating on call responsibilities. Must be available for 24-hour call back with a 60-minute response time. Our hospital is equipped with the latest technology for cancer treatment and various specialized health centers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
