About the Role

Actalent Engineering Services is seeking a Thermal Hydraulic Analysis Engineer to support advanced nuclear energy initiatives. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact reactor safety and performance analysis projects in collaboration with leading engineering teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform infrastructure analyses using RETRAN in both originator and design verifier capacitiesConduct Chapter 15 accident analyses to support planned reactor cycle length extensionsDevelop and validate base models for thermal-hydraulic performanceCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to ensure model accuracy and compliancePrepare and present technical documentation and findings to internal and external stakeholdersRequired QualificationsBachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or a related Engineering discipline3–10+ years of experience in thermal-hydraulic modeling and simulationProficiency in RETRAN-02 or RETRAN-3DExperience with CFD tools such as STAR-CCM+Familiarity with NQA-1 and SQA standardsPreferred QualificationsExperience with VIPRE-01Prior work in regulated environments supporting nuclear safety analysisStrong technical writing and communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
