Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving performance and building winning teams? We’re on the hunt for a State Sales Manager to take charge of our Professional business across New South Wales.
About the role:
The State Sales Manager is responsible for the overall management of Professional business in the NSW state region. You will be accountable for the achievement of the quarterly and annual sales targets and EBITDA targets through team management, account retention and new business development.
You will be responsible for:
Develop and execute business strategies, report progress to the ANZ Regional DirectorDrive sales growth and meet/exceed quarterly and annual targets (Sales, SGP, DOP, EBITDA)Implement price increases on time and in full; maximize margins and profitabilityIdentify and win new accounts within pricing/margin guidelinesRecruit, train, and manage Account Managers and Technical Service RepresentativesConduct regular performance reviews and coaching to ensure team successLead and motivate the Sales & Service team; remove roadblocks and address performance issuesEnsure high-quality service delivery to all accounts and maintain product/equipment standardsPromote CRM usage (SFDC) and ensure accurate customer data and productive time managementUphold Health, Safety & Environmental standards through safe behavior and risk mitigationCollaborate with Sector Managers and BDMs to execute sector-specific strategiesManage state budget and foster cross-functional relationships (Customer Service, Shared Services, Marketing)What you need to be successful
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&LMinimum 5 years of proven leadership, building high-performing teamsExcellent presentation and negotiation skills; able to sell complete solutionsBusiness-savvy, goal-driven, and committed to growthSkilled in identifying and securing new business opportunitiesWillingness to travel interstate as neededProficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)Energetic, enthusiastic, and a true team playerDisciplined in goal setting and achievement
