NPI Operations Program Manager, Physical Infrastructure (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience in program or project management. + 5 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role. + Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently in order to communicate with global teams and local contract manufacturers in Mexico. Preferred qualifications: + MBA or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, or other relevant fields. + Experience in multiple aspects of hardware operations. + Knowledge about typical hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation and assembly and test processes. + Excellent communicator of project requirements and schedules. + Excellent leadership, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity and strategic skills. As a Program Manager for Cloud Supply Chain Operations (CSCO), you are at the heart of our mission to deliver with unmatched speed, unwavering reliability, and unparalleled efficiency to Google's technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing complex programs, defining requirements, managing project schedules and communicating to stakeholders. You will be accountable for reliable and efficient delivery on behalf of CSCOs customers and users. In this role, you will be the primary operations/supply chain interface to the development and deployment teams with the responsibility for driving operations new product development as well as supporting those products through production ramp. You are well versed in the Contract Manufacturing (CM)/Original Device Manufacturing (ODM) environments and will lead a team of professionals to ensure products are designed and built to Google standards. This role requires on-site presence at the contractor manufacturer in Guadalajara three days per week. Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals. + Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost, assembly, test, Bill of Materials (BOM), or capacity readiness and transition plans). + Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
