NPI Launch Manager (Fixed-term)

The Role

We’re seeking a 12-month fixed-term New Product Introduction (NPI) Launch Manager based in Auckland, who will have the overall responsibility for managing New Product Introductions through the end-to-end Supply Chain. 

The role ensures that effective processes are used to deliver each projects’ strategic goal, in a lean and effective way. Achieving this while making necessary recommendations and delivery transparent to all stakeholders throughout the process of implementation. Constantly reviewing and balancing the needs of the business; the paradox between an individual projects’ strategic aims & key delivery milestones, as well as providing supply chain competitive strategy. 

Managing through influence and displaying leadership behaviour aligned to F&P’s purpose, values and shared requirements. Whilst delivering to the promise of being a trusted supplier! 

You will be skilful at leading by influence and growing a culture of collaboration and innovation. Able to influence stakeholders at key project junctures, facilitate decision making and courageously challenge throughout the process. 

Advanced Technical Skills: An expert understanding of systems and keen ability to learn on the job and adapt your methods required to deliver expert scoping and recommendations to be implemented through the end-to-end supply chain. 

Business Leadership: Strong financial understanding and analytical skills. Ability to develop and apply the best commercial and financial solution for the right situation and environment. 

About you:

A minimum 5 years of experience in complex manufacturing or Supply Chain business, ideally within a Global, multi-national organisation.

Experience in Project Management with an in depth understanding of general supply chain principles. 

Proven leadership, with a track record, of successfully leading transformation initiatives.

Expert understanding of systems and keen ability to learn on the job and adapt your methods required to deliver expert scoping and recommendations to be implemented through the end to end supply chain.

Strong financial understanding and analytical skills. Ability to develop and apply the best commercial and financial solution for the right situation and environment.

Drives a LEAN mind set throughout the team through continuous process improvement, increasing efficiency, and sharing and aligning to best practices.
