Job Description
Develop/identify potential sources of supply, support negotiations, process requisitions, place purchase orders and oversee delivery of goods and services to meet project delivery dates. Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQ). Analyze quotations using a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach. Prepare and lead Supply Chain Material Readiness tracker and meetings. Track New Product and Continuation purchased part cost and provide information to PLM Team and Sourcing Managers. Develop cost reduction and productivity strategies directly aligned with Project cost targets. Manage NPI and Continuation new purchased part lead time. You will report to the Team Lead, Sourcing Project Manager. Role is located in Katowice - Poland. Hybrid work schedule
Your Responsibilities:Responsible for PLM purchasing assignments requiring application of advanced purchasing principles, theories, and concepts.Identify alternate sources of supply, prepare RFQs, and complete Total Cost of Ownership analyses to lead selection of supplier location and lot sizes where applicable.Guide Supply Chain Material Readiness and support time to market by facilitating meetings with suppliers, and team members. Report status of material and raise awareness to partners of pain points. Guide next steps towards risk mitigation.Manage escalated critical material shortages for the PLM teams.Work with production buyers to build new parts set up.Ensure thorough familiarity with Rockwell Automation's Common Product Development (CPD) process.Analyze data (perform root cause analysis. Create action plans.Maintain ERP accuracy and resolve issues, on-time delivery, and lead time accuracy.May manage data in MRP system including price, lead time, and lot sizes.Process purchase requisitions generated by NPI teams, verify accuracy to quote, and resolve invoice issues.Help with of material planning forecasts to suppliers of critical components throughout program development cycle.Represent Rockwell Automation when working with other companies.Support overall productivity improvement efforts and management reporting.Comply with all Rockwell Automation procedures.Ensure familiarity with procedures relating to NPI Sourcing and standards of business conduct.May review new product introduction management and engineer change notices (ECN).May participate in and support the coordinated purchase agreement programs with the Rockwell Strategic Sourcing organization.The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Equivalent discipline.Minimum five years direct related experience.ERP/SAP experienceDemonstrated understanding of MRP, inventory, and production principles.Experience and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.Capability with analytical tools, and systems.Project Procurement, and NPI Experience.Map out processes and improve to lead operational efficiencies and document supply chain processes.Desired Qualifications
