As the NPDC Portfolio Manager,  you will be responsible for leading the integrated Contract Management team in the successful delivery of the New Plymouth District Council Infrastructure Term Service Contract.. 
Your key responsibilities will involve:

Providing disciplined and structured contract management that increases certainty, manages risk and optimised performance Being the primary contact with NPDC Service Managers to ensure this relationship is managed effectively to create value and high-quality outcomes Working with NPDC’s management team to develop and implement strategies to improve how the network is managed and how we achieve customer satisfaction Become responsible for contract performance, working closely with NPDC, the team and Supply Chain to set, measure and drive performance expectations Closely working alongside the Mobilisation and Workforce Development team to ensure we develop and sustain a high performing team 

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

Extensive contract management experience with a strong track record of delivering results Minimum 10 years of experience in a Management/Leadership role, ideally within the civil engineering sector Experience in managing multiple suppliers and sub-contractors across complex projects Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise effectively Effective verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to confidently communicate, motivate and problem solve whilst maintaining client relationships Strong understanding of contract specifications with proven ability to ensure compliance and execution Proficient in relevant computer applications and systems Committed to fostering a strong health and safety culture across all operations
