ITW Global Tire Repair is seeking a New Product Development (NPD) Intern who will work closely with our R&D Team. The Intern will play a crucial role in supporting R&D by primarily engaging in research and testing activities. With a focus on innovation, the incumbent will be responsible for testing, researching and validating existing new products, while also contributing to the ideation process.

This position is located in our San Luis Obispo, CA office.

Qualifications

Communicate technical information and detailsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to work with Microsoft Office. Must be efficient with Excel.Must have the ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects while meeting competing deadlines.Exceptional attention to detail is crucial.Demonstrate cooperating, positive behavior with colleagues and supervisors. Teamwork, encouragement, and support for all departments are requirements of the position.Cleanliness and organization are also requirements for the position.Technical aptitude and 3D design familiarity a plus.

This is a temporary position working approximately 15-20 hours per week in our San Luis Obispo, CA office. This is NOT a remote position. Ideal candidates are available ASAP.

Compensation Information:

Pay Range is $22 to $26/ hour depending on expertise.
