This ideal practice setting offers access to the resources of a multi-specialty clinic and is adjacent to the hospital and emergency medicine department. Our UC team consists of 3 Advanced Practice Providers with MD oversight. + 0.75 FTE + Must be certified to care for individuals of all ages + Patient variety and high-acuity needs + Open Mon-Fri from 8a-8p, Sat & Sun from 8a-4p + 2-3 shifts/week rotating every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday + Variable schedule floating needed to cover CME/vacations at Park Rapids HWY 34 Walk-In Clinic. May also provide coverage in ED, if interested + Ability to work within a team The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, the NP/PA works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. NP/PAs provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others. **EDUCATION/TRAINING:** + Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution. + Experience in Emergency Medicine, Walk-In or Urgent Care preferred! **LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:** + Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP). + Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state. + Current certification in CPR + National certification, in applicable area. + Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
