Salary: $787 / Week Location: Multiple school sites in Raytown, MO Schedule: August 12, 2025 – May 22, 2026 Hours: 7.5-hour workday (between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, varies by gradelevel) Pay Rate: $21/hour Interview Deadline: In-person interviews conducted by July15 (must speak with an Amergis representative first) About the Role: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate BehaviorTechnicians to support students in Resource or Self-ContainedClassrooms within the IA Behavioral Program. This is arewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of studentsacross various grade levels. Multiple positions available – candidates mustbe open to working with any grade level. Final placement will be determinedbased on experience and preference following the interview. Key Responsibilities: + Support and reinforce classroom objectives by adapting activities and materials under teacher supervision. + Implement instructional and behavioral plans in subjects like reading, math, writing, and life skills. + Monitor and manage student behavior to ensure a safe and productive learning environment. + Provide physical and behavioral support, including de-escalation and safety interventions when necessary. + Attend required training sessions (e.g., CPR, CPI, emergency procedures). + Maintain close communication with instructional staff and support personnel. + Supervise students throughout the school day, including transitions and non-classroom settings.
