Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant / Medical Receptionist to join a reputable physician’s office in Pensacola. As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment while supporting the office with essential administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities + Greet and assist patients as they arrive + Answer phone calls and schedule appointments + Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry + Handle insurance verifications and billing support + Perform general clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning + Support the medical team with day-to-day office operations Qualifications + ?? Education: + High school diploma or GED required + Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred + ?? Experience: + 6 months to 1 year of administrative or receptionist experience preferred + Healthcare or medical office experience is a plus + ??
