What You’ll Do: + Support students 1:1 or in classroom settings with academic and behavioral goals + Follow IEP objectives in areas like reading, math, speech, and life skills + Assist with classroom activities, small group instruction, and social games + Help students during lunch, recess, and community outings + Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times + Collaborate with teachers, therapists (PT, OT, SLP), and behavioral staff + Support students with self-care routines (toileting, hygiene, dressing) + Assist with behavior management strategies as directed + Help with clerical tasks like copying, organizing materials, and scoring assignments What You’ll Need: + Must be 18 years or older + High school diploma or equivalent (required) + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Willingness to learn and support students with diverse needs + Computer proficiency preferred + Must pass background screening and meet all local/state/federal requirements + English fluency (verbal and written) + Certification as required by state or client (if applicable) Why Join Amergis Staffing?
