Who we are looking for
The Marketing Specialist, North America holds a pivotal role – bringing a ‘One State Street’ approach to clients, partners and prospects, to better drive impact. This role will not only work to strengthen our brand and build awareness across target audiences, but it will also lead the development of the marketing strategy focused on supporting our sales organization, positioning State Street and Charles River (‘CRD’) as a leader in the industry. This leader will be developing and leveraging event marketing tactics (virtual and in person events, campaigns, thought leadership, etc.) to bring State Street to the forefront for our clients, partners and prospects across North America.

What you will be responsible for
As Marketing Specialist you will
Work with the wider global marketing team members and business unit, sales and coverage teams to assist in defining and delivering marketing objectives and a comprehensive, combined marketing strategyDirectly responsible for ensuring all marketing plans are executed on by the team within specified timeframesRegularly communicates with the wider State Street and CRD Marketing team seeking their input as those plans and programs are developed to ensure CRD needs are appropriately factored in from an early stageActs as the primary interface between marketing teams and ensure that the appropriate work from our other Marketing leads is represented in a way that is consumable for our clients, prospects and partnersDraft and submit budget proposals, accruals and recommend changes where necessaryBuild, develop, and grow any business relationships with the coverage and regional teams, vital to the success of the campaign / project.What we value

7-9 years relevant marketing, events and communications experience, preferably in a financial services organizationA degree-level educationExcellence in verbal and written communications and knowledge of online, client and industry event best practicesExperience managing marketing projects: communications, online - webinars, podcasts and other events - industry and client, PR, brand, editorial, thought leadership, and partnerships / sponsorships. This entails a good understanding of all marketing channels, including interactive and social mediaOutstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interface with colleagues from all disciplines, backgrounds and cultures to produce content and events which are interesting and relevantWorking in matrix structures and cross-cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own, as part of a team and globallySalesforce and Pardot are a plusAdditional requirements

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
