Wärtsilä SLS Bearing Centre is an internationally acclaimed leader in advanced bearing solutions, serving the power generation and industrial turbine markets with a commitment to innovation, reliability, and exceptional customer service.
We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially driven North America Sales Manager for our Industrial Business. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales - Industrial Business, you will spearhead our growth strategy, managing client relationships, and driving sales throughout North America.
Candidates may be located in South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Florida, or Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of sales strategies tailored for the North American market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including major OEMs and power generation companies.
• Conduct detailed market analyses and competitive assessments to identify business opportunities.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle, from initial contact through proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing.
• Collaborate effectively with the global sales team to align regional and global objectives.
• Regularly report on sales activities and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience
Required qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant commercial experience in the power generation industry, preferably from turbine OEMs, turbine maintenance companies, or bearing companies.
• A solid technical background is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage client relationships and achieve ambitious sales targets.
• Deep knowledge of the industrial turbine market landscape in North America.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills beneficial but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel extensively within North America, with occasional international trips (up to 80% of the time).

Travel Requirements: This position requires a 80% travel commitment, encompassing both domestic and international.
