North America Regional Leader - GEOC
As a senior member of the Global Emergency Operations Center team, the North American Regional Lead will oversee the day-to-day operational workflow and deliverables of the NA based team. Additionally, the North America Regional Lead will provide regional ownership of the organization’s triage, documentation, critical issue, and management of both (potential & real) risks and incidents impacting Aon’s assets. Job Description: + Minimum 7+years of experience in the industry is preferred. + Oversee the daily operations and deliverables of a cross regional team through the implementation of a follow the sun team schedule that guarantees service delivery objectives are met on a 24/7/365 basis backfilling vacant shift slots as needed. + Own the regional execution of GEOC engagements and service level agreements for various collaborator groups across the enterprise ensuring processes are followed, objectives achieved, and quality delivered. + Improve team proficiency by answering technical and procedural questions for other regional leads and less expert team members; guiding improved processes and providing mentorship as required. + Accountable for quality control, management of risks and critical issues across the North America team. + Deliver timely updates to collaborators and Incident Management Teams. + Ensure each step, action items and deliverable are thoroughly documented during the incident management process. + Act as the GEOC’s primary contact for all high-visibility incidents affecting the firm’s people, property, and information, primarily in North America! + Assist the Global Head, GEOC and other GEOC Regional Leads with the development and application of internal Standard Operating Procedures and collaborator engagement documents. + Work with the Global Head, GEOC as needed to ensure third-party vendors adhere to service delivery standards while offering the proper back-end support needed to optimize system capabilities. + Assist the Global Head, GEOC with any reporting or metrics requests on a monthly quarterly, annual and ad-hoc basis as requested by Senior Leadership or key collaborators. + Collaborate with GEOC regional leads and the Global Head, GEOC, to develop and implement standardized onboarding and training protocols. + Together with the Global Head, GEOC you will work to develop awareness and build global collaborator partnerships relating to the Emergency Communications platform. + Evaluate and refine testing methodologies to enhance effectiveness and reliability in crisis communication. + Provide expert level guidance for all matters concerning the global application and implementation of the Emergency Notification System. + Oversee standard, emergency, exercise, and simulation notifications, ensuring compliance with established protocols and standard processes. + Work closely with Business Technology Resilience, Corporate Real Estate, Human Resources and other key collaborators to support initiatives for physical location, local leadership and colleague emergency contact collection methods. + Ensure timely transmission to colleagues and key collaborators using the right communication channels! + Represent the Aon Global Emergency Center at various vendor seminars, industry conferences and forums to ensure the GEOC is aware of and can apply the latest trends and standard processes across the enterprise. Education: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have backgrounds in the military or law enforcement preferred. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $82,100 - $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
