If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.** **North America Manufacturing Systems Lead** **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **Residence based role preferably located near a Bayer Crop Science site on the Mainland, USA.** The primary responsibilities of this role, North America Manufacturing Systems Lead, are: + Execute key regional systems optimization/process improvement programs closely connected with plant operations; + Coordinate strategy, development, launch and evaluation of key manufacturing system including by not limited to OEE and MES; + Establish and maintain metrics driven continuous improvement strategies for plant operations; + Support onePSS implementation and sustainment with priority on Focused Improvement. In partnership with manufacturing teams and in alignment with global production system scope and roadmap; + Active contribution on regional optimization teams; + Maintain consistency in operations across regional sites; + Partner with manufacturing team and EMEX group on CAPEX scoping and execution; + Act as bridge to ensure successful implementation of innovation and other EMEX projects to the manufacturing sites; + Mentor regional plant engineering intern/co-op’s; + Partner with Regional Processes Optimization Team; + Reliability, and Transformation teams to deliver improved process control and value to the organization; + Provides leadership, guidelines, priorities, professional and personal development to a group of regional professionals; + Supports manufacturing leadership with technical & leadership coaching during implementation of CI initiatives; Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering or related field with 8+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment **OR** Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of experience derived from continuous improvement or lean manufacturing. + Excellent analytical and problem solving (decision making) skills; + Collaborative team player; capable of working well with people across all hierarchies internally and externally, including leadership; + Good organizational and presentation skills at a leadership level; + Good interpersonal skills such as communication, listening, verbal and assertiveness with ability to influence and lead; + Travel Requirement – Avg 25% is expected within region and limited globally; + Results driven with ability to manage ambiguity; \#LI-AMSUS Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $125,382.40 - $188,073.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
