North America Industrial Strategy - Capacity Planning Specialist

The North America Industrial Strategy Capacity Planning Specialist is responsible for developing and managing assembly plant capacity data in support of both next generation new model programs and current production. The Specialist will lead, facilitate and coordinate the volume/capacity activities within the Mfg. team, serve as the liaison with Demand Planning and work with Framing specialists and Industrial Strategy leaders to develop and audit final deliverables. The Specialist will also coordinate Global S&OP meeting preparation activities, as well as manage the development and updates related to various graphic representation of the volumes and plant capacities.  The Capacity Planning Specialist will be expected to effectively communicate with and routinely present to senior management.

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree required 3+ years of manufacturing experience required, with knowledge of manufacturing and plant operations Highly proficient with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel Self-motivated and able to successfully achieve results under time pressure Detail orientated with proven ability to deliver at a high level of quality/accuracy Ability to work with all levels while establishing and maintaining lines of communication Strong teamwork skills required as well as the ability to handle multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree with working knowledge / technical experience in Manufacturing  Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes with a focus on Body in White (BIW), Paint, General Assembly, Logistics, Stamping and/or Quality Vehicle assembly and/or vehicle launch experience Experience with cost estimation for tooling and automation Experience with Demand and Capacity Planning Proficient in advanced excel functions (vlookup, formulas, sum)  EOE / Disability / Veteran
