The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Nondestructive Ultrasonic Testing Technician (NDT) to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Bethesda, MD. The Nondestructive Ultrasonic Testing Technician (NDT) will provide nondestructive testing and inspection tasks across a variety of materials and objects. The technician will also write and approve plans and procedures in support of those tests.
Responsibilities:
Perform and oversee advanced ultrasonic testing, including thickness, shear wave, time of flight diffraction (ToFD), and phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT).
Inspect various types of metal materials, polymers and composites to include flat plates, weldments, shapes and pipes.
Generate and approve scan plans, write and approve UT testing procedures and workmanship standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
High School Diploma.
Current Secret Clearance.
Certified to Level III Test Examiner for ultrasonic testing to perform UT thickness, shear wave, and time of flight diffraction (ToFD) per Nondestructive Testing Methods (NAVSEA T9074-AS-GIB-010/271).
Certified level III for phase array UT (PAUT) under the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT).
10 years of experience in nondestructive testing (NDT).

The proposed salary range for this position is:
