Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) Level III Technician - F-16 Contract Logistics Support (CLS)
**Description** **Major Job Activities** Key Responsibilities: + 30% - Train, advise, and assist IqAF personnel on F-16 engine inspections and diagnostic techniques. + 25% - Perform inspections using Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Electromagnetic (ET), and Ultrasonic (UT) methods. + 15% - Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment. + 10% - Document inspection reports, diagnostics, and maintenance findings. + 10% - Use and train IqAF on technical publications, schematics, and specifications. + 5% - Recommend improvements to enhance NDI operations and work processes. + 5% - Perform other duties as assigned by Site Management. **Material & Equipment Directly Used** NDI equipment (PT, MT, ET, UT tools), calibration devices, JOAP systems, technical manuals, Microsoft Office. **Working Environment** Operational and maintenance hangar environment in Iraq. Includes inspection areas, shops, and coordination with foreign military teams. **Physical Activities** Lifting, kneeling, climbing, working in confined spaces. Involves handling inspection equipment and exposure to aircraft maintenance environments. **Qualifications** Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education. Certifications: USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman) Experience: 8 to 8 to 10 years of F-16 NDI experience required. Expertise in JOAP and various inspection methods. Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; eligible for Secret clearance; strong interpersonal and instructional skills; familiarity with Logistics Management System tools; capable of worldwide travel including all Middle East countries.
