STS Technical Services is hiring a Non-Technical Project Manager (Assistant Website Manager) in Warren, Michigan to support the development and implementation of digital strategies for customer care, aftersales, service, and parts content. This hybrid role requires on-site presence three times per week and offers the opportunity to work closely with creative, marketing, UX, and analytics teams to enhance the customer journey from discovery to purchase.

Position Overview:The Assistant Website Manager will drive the digital customer experience strategy across key digital channels, oversee day-to-day web operations, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to improve site functionality, usability, and performance. This position blends digital strategy, project management, and website optimization within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Drive the digital customer experience strategy across key digital channels including the Parts and Service websites Define the features and functionality necessary to effectively communicate the Parts and Service product and brand story Manage day-to-day processes and timelines, coordinating with production and creative agencies to ensure timely launches Lead several external agency teams responsible for executing the digital strategy, ensuring alignment with divisions and CCA brand goals Collaborate closely with marketing colleagues (e.g., ACDelco, GM Genuine Parts, Certified Service Technician Recruitment) and internal business partners to continually improve the website and drive KPIs Collaborate with GMIT Brand Leads, GM research, and other stakeholders to uphold best practice standards while implementing projects that include shopping tools, websites, and other applications Advocate for the user by implementing industry best practices, usability research, and customer insights throughout the design and development process Manage and collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive project execution Regularly review analytics and provide actionable insights for ongoing digital optimization, including A/B testing and Test/Target initiatives Conduct usability studies, competitive reviews/audits, and benchmarking studies to drive website improvements Oversee content strategy, management, and asset creation for the development of key site pages and shopping tools Conduct content research, development, and optimization for websites and related digital platforms Develop purchase orders and collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Deep understanding of UX design and digital marketing best practices Familiarity with automotive scheduling tools and content management systems Background in SEO and experience with online shopping tools and content management systems Technical aptitude to communicate effectively with technology teams and designers Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and translating user insights into actionable site improvements Strong analytical skills with the ability to digest site metrics and recommend enhancements Experience with CGI asset creation to support digital content needs Collaborative mindset to work effectively across cross-functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field 7+ years of digital marketing or product management experience on high-traffic consumer-facing websites About STS Technical Services:STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm partnering with leading organizations in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, and industrial operations.
