As a Polysomnographic Technician, you will assist your dedicated and expert caregivers in this area of treatment improvement. You will perform various diagnostic sleep studies, aiding in our mission to enhance quality of life and health for people across the globe. All the while, you will gain extensive hands-on clinical experience, educational resources, comprehensive benefits and more, here at Cleveland Clinic. **A caregiver in this position works evenings, from 12:00pm-8:30am.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Prepare patients and equipment for ordered testing. + Interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues and explain testing procedures. + Perform and document testing. + Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues. + Score, interpret and report results of sleep studies. + Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing. + Determine and report needed repairs/replacements.
